It seems that most of my posts for a while have been focussed on Hong Kong!  Well this should be no surprise given than (A) it is an awesome place to take photographs and (B) I've spent so much time there including 'free time' away from usual duties of family and work at home.

I've never been an architecture photographer.  I do have a brilliant lens for this purpose - the Canon TS-E24 II - but I'd not brought it along on this trip.  Indeed, I didn't set out to do any architectural shots at all, but grabbed a few frames on a Sunday stroll through Central. What is most striking are the shapes and shadows, so I shot high contrast black and white (all jpegs and minimal processing in Lightroom).
