Almost amazingly until this Easter I've *almost* never been to Snowdonia. I saw almost because I went to Betws y Coed about 23 years ago very briefly. We've just returned from a family holiday over a long Easter weekend to Ffestiniog and Dolgellau and surrounding areas. It was stunning! I am now kicking myself for not having got to know this amazing area of Britain before now.
We were there for family fun of course, and even the rather wet weather couldn't spoil it. I took the XT-10 with 23mm and 12mm lenses, no tripod, no filters and little time to take pictures except when out with the family. So most pictures are family holiday pictures, but I grabbed a few frames here and there. It made me realise how much I really value my Lee Filters now for landscape work. Shooting waterfalls without a ND filter seems a bit fruitless now! There is so much to see - (waterfalls seem to be everywhere) and I am already thinking of where to book up for the next trip, either a solo photo outing, or another family vacation.
