It's been another very good holiday in Japan.  For a treat I decided to come to Tokyo alone for two nights to do some "me time" including some photography in this amazing, vast and crazy city.  I'm staying in a cool little Guesthouse in Kuramae and decided not to venture too far - to Asakusa, Shinjuku, Shibuya and Akihabara.  It's been a lot of fun but too hot!  By 1pm today I was exhausted shooting in Akihabara so came back for a chill out and a shower.  Hopefully I will have enough energy for the Sumidagawa Hanabi tonight!

First, some shots on Tokyo's sprawling rail system.

Shibuya.  Home of the largest pedestrian crossing in the world - and it feels like it!  Wow!  A great place to shoot and got lost in the crazy and colourful backstreets

The ever amazing Shinjuku - including Golden Gai and Yakitori alley.  Fantastic for early evening photography in 'old' Tokyo

Asakusa and Senso-Ji.  Busiest I've ever seen it and full of the ubiquitous tourists wielding selfie sticks!

Akihabara was fun but I was getting pretty hot and tired by then!
